If you are planning to buy Kirloskar diesel generators in the UAE, choosing the right supplier is as important as selecting the generator itself. Your purchase should account for the required capacity, installation conditions, delivery scope and support available after commissioning.
MYSPAN Power Solutions is the sole authorised distributor of Kirloskar Powergen in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. We help businesses select diesel generators for their project requirements, with genuine spare parts and technical support available throughout ownership.
This guide explains what to prepare before requesting a quotation and what to check before placing an order.
Where Can You Buy Kirloskar Diesel Generators in the UAE?
You can contact MYSPAN Power Solutions to discuss Kirloskar diesel generators for projects in Dubai, Sharjah and across the UAE.
Start by exploring our Kirloskar Legacy Series diesel generators. The published range covers 20 kVA to 1500 kVA, with model specifications showing the engine, alternator, frequency, prime rating and standby rating.
When reviewing the range, check which rating applies to your intended operation. Confirm the final configuration, availability and delivery schedule with our team before ordering.
What Should You Prepare Before Requesting a Quote?
A detailed enquiry helps the supplier recommend a suitable configuration and prepare a quotation that reflects your needs.
Provide the following information:
- Application: construction, manufacturing, warehousing, hospitality or another use.
- Installation location: the emirate, site address and access restrictions.
- Equipment list: the electrical equipment the generator will supply.
- Operating pattern: emergency backup or regular operation, including expected hours.
- Installation arrangement: a generator room, outdoor location or another planned position.
- Delivery requirements: your required date and any positioning constraints.
- Additional scope: transfer equipment, fuel arrangements, installation or commissioning.
If you are unsure about the required capacity, our guide on how to choose the right diesel generator in the UAE explains the information needed for a sizing assessment.
How Do You Compare Kirloskar Generator Quotations?
Two quotations can show a similar generator capacity while covering different equipment and services. Ask each supplier to identify the exact model, operating rating and scope of supply.
Confirm the Generator Specification
The quotation should clearly state the proposed engine, alternator, controller, voltage, frequency and enclosure.
Ask for the applicable technical data sheet so your technical team can review the offered configuration against the project requirements. Where a specification allows alternatives, request confirmation of the components included in your order.
Check What Is Included
Before comparing prices, confirm whether each offer includes:
- The generator and its specified enclosure.
- The fuel tank and related accessories.
- Transfer or control equipment.
- Delivery, unloading and positioning.
- Installation materials and labour.
- Testing and commissioning.
- Operating documentation and training.
Request a clear list of exclusions. This makes it easier to understand the total project cost and avoid gaps between the equipment purchase and installation work.
Confirm Site Suitability
Discuss the actual installation conditions with your supplier, including ambient temperature, dust exposure, ventilation, access and available space.
Ask the supplier to document the conditions used for its recommendation and identify any limitations or additional work required at your site.
What Affects the Price of a Kirloskar Diesel Generator?
There is no single price that applies to every project. A quotation depends on the selected model and the equipment and services included.
Factors to clarify include:
- Required capacity and operating rating.
- Engine and alternator configuration.
- Enclosure and acoustic requirements.
- Fuel storage requirements.
- Controls and transfer equipment.
- Delivery and installation scope.
- Commissioning and service arrangements.
For an accurate comparison, send the same project information to each supplier and ask for an itemised proposal. Confirm quotation validity, payment terms and the expected delivery schedule.
Check Service and Genuine Spare Parts Support
Before you buy a diesel generator, establish how it will be maintained and who will support it after delivery.
Ask about the applicable maintenance schedule, service coverage, documentation and process for ordering replacement parts. Review the warranty terms, including the responsibilities of the owner and supplier.
MYSPAN provides generator service and genuine Kirloskar spare parts support, including maintenance, commissioning and annual maintenance contract options.
Discuss the appropriate support arrangement when requesting your generator quotation so it can be considered alongside the equipment purchase.
